As we draw closer to whatever is in the future for each of us, perhaps we should consider doing this reunion thing in five years from now instead of ten.  Just a thought.  Again, I am sorry I am unable to attend the event but I will be there in spirit, anyway; I have truly enjoyed reading all of the comments you have posted.  I hope all of you have a great time.

To all my fellow Vikings,  have a great time tonight and tomorrow.  Just wish I could have been there.   I agree that we should do this in five years.   We've lost a lot of great people and unfortunately more will follow.   Thanks to all who participated in planning this event.  Wonderful site, which I hopes stays so all can connect at least until we meet again.  Will keep checking, so God Bless and stay well.

I'm sorry I won't be there tonight or tomorrow, but hope everyone will have a great time.  It would be great if pictures could be posted.  Have fun!

Well here it is the morning after and I want to be the first (but probably not the last) to say you all looked wonderful at the grad night last night.  The committee did a fabulous job and we all can't say thank you enough times for making this the success it was...and a huge thank you to Pete Williams for getting all those Doyle Park pictures together.  I second or third the idea of having another reunion in maybe five years rather than the 10 if at all possible.  I'm sorry that I didn't memorize everyone's picture BEFORE last night so that I didn't spend so much time peering at name tags (although the print WAS pretty darn readable)!!

Have a wonderful time tonight for those of you that are going and safe safe travels back to your homes wherever they may be.  I am hoping we can stay in touch through this great website (Thank you Gary) and see each other soon.  Best wishes to all of you as we go forward to deal with whatever challenges we each have...gee, now I wish that I had gone around for one last hug....

I hope the entire reunion committe will be introduced tonight.  Thank you all for making this possible.  What a treat to meet the wonderfully grown up versions of our classmates.

On behalf of the Reunion Committee, I want to thank everyone that attended last night's Grad Night party. I am confident to say that everyone had a great time, and tonight's Reunion party will be even better.

I also want to thank everyone for all the website kudos. Creating the website has been a lot of fun, and it has enabled me to get back in contact with many classmates that I haven't seen or heard from since high school. I am sure a lot of you have experienced the same. I can take credit for creating the website and for motivating a few of you to contribute to the site, but the real heros are all of you that take the time to read and post comments and pictures. There have been so many great stories and pictures shared along with the follow-up comments.

I was asked multiple times last night if the website is going to continue on after the reunion and the answer is..."Absolutely!" I didn't create the website for a reunion...I created it for all of us to get back together and communicate with each other. I will keep it going as long as I am able to do so, and it will be enhanced along the way. We still have 273 classmates to find and get on to the site, so our job is not done. There are some that don't like technology and never will participate and that's okay too!

I look forward to seeing you at the Reunion. We welcome anyone that has not bought a ticket for tonight's event. Just bring cash or check and join the party...you won't regret it!

Gary

How a bout again next year. I will give any classmates and family free accommodations (with breakfast) at my resort for six nights from October 25 to October 30th, 2015.

What a wonderful evening at Grad Night.  I am still chuckling at the memories that surfaced!   Thanks so much to the committee for making it such a great event.  Sorry to miss tonight and know it will be fabulous as well.

Yes, Sherill, it was a grand time last night.  It was wonderful to see everyone again.  I agree with you, Sherill, about have another reunion in 5 years.  That"s long enough.  Hopefully we can get enough response from the alumni to help with the expense of it.  Take care of yourself.  Look forward to seeing you at the reunion dinner.

Yes, Ann, it would be nice for the committee to be introduced so we can give them a standing ovation for all the work and time they spent on these events.

I wanted to add my thanks to the committee for all of their work. Last night was fun to talk to people that I hadn't seen in 50 years. I spent the afternoon at Bob Butler's home/vineyard and tomorrow having lunch with Phil Husby. Things I couldn't have imagined without last night.

Thank you for thanking us (the committee) but I gotta say, the proof in the pudding was that each of you bought the airline ticket or drove all the way to get here and re-connect with old and dear friends.  It was well worth the effort to see the smiles and hugs - and to receive them as well !!!!  Thank you all.  WE made a great event!  gloria

Well, everyone, what a wonderful 2 nights!  It was great seeing all of you and sharing memories.  I'm am so glad that the website is going to continue, Gary.  Like you said, we still have classmates to locate.  Hopefully we can have a reunion again in 5 years or so.  If you need any help in planning it, let me know.  You and the committee have worked so hard for all of us that I would be glad to help.  Thanks again.

Wow!  Our committee rocks!  I want to say a huge THANK-YOU to all of them!  Both nights were such fun, I still have a smile on my face.  I honestly didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised when flooded with memories of friends and escpades in high school--even Junior High.

I hope many of you are considering taking Steve up on his offer to visit his resort next October!  We are throwing $ into the vacation kitty already.

Again, thanks to our hard-working committee, and it was great to see you all!!!!!

Back in Pinehurst, NC in time for 49er's second quarter. Two long days of travel (early mornings) was well worth it - seeing everyone and reminiscing. the committee did an outstanding job putting everything together - Kudos! Great to see that the years have been good to everyone. Have found my three Montgomery yearbooks and the booklets from the 1st Decade and the 20th reunion - will take a look at them over the next several days - can't believe they're still around. Look forward to another get together. Ever in the area stop by!
